It's Wednesday at 12:45 and you've finally decided to ask about that thing you've been thinking about for a year. You pick up your phone to book, and realize you don't know whether anyone will be there at lunch. They won't, as it happens: Growing Younger Clinic closes from 1 to 2 Tuesday through Thursday. It's a small detail, and it's the sort of thing that's easier to know before you drive over. Here's everything else a first-time patient might want to know.
When the clinic is open
The clinic is closed Monday and Sunday. Tuesday through Thursday it's open from 9 AM to 6 PM, with a closure for lunch from 1 to 2. Friday is 9 to 2, and Saturday is 10 to 2. If you work a standard schedule, Saturday morning and Tuesday through Thursday after 2 are the likeliest fits, and a Friday morning can work if you have the flexibility.
How to book
You can phone (256) 325-6398 or use the clinic's online scheduling through Picktime, which is linked in the site navigation. Patients seem to like it. One testimonial on the clinic's reviews page calls it the best online scheduling system, and a reviewer praises being able to add a guest. There's also a New Patient Form on the site that you can fill in ahead of your visit, which can save time when you arrive.
Another reviewer notes that you don't wait long for an appointment and that you get in and out. That's one person's experience, not a promise, but it's a useful sign.
What happens at the free consultation
New patients get a free consultation. It's meant to be a conversation, and a reviewer notes that the team doesn't push products on you. You'll talk about what you want to change, what you want to keep and what you've already tried.
The clinic also uses digital skin analysis at the consultation, along with digital imaging and medical assessments, to build a personalized plan. Digital analysis gives you and your provider something shared to look at: spots, texture and other details that are hard to judge in a mirror. Dr. Wagner, as his patients call him, and the team answer questions as you go.
What to have ready
- A list of your current medications and supplements
- Your questions about price, recovery time and how many visits to expect
- A photo of a time you liked how your skin looked
- Your calendar, so you can plan around events
- A guest, if you'd like company, since online scheduling lets you add one
Prices you can see in advance
The clinic posts its prices online, which helps you plan before you call. A few examples: HydraFacial is $175, a spa facial or microdermabrasion is $75, dermaplane is $85, and a chemical peel is $100. Neurotoxins are $10 per unit at 40 units and $9.50 per unit at 60 or more, and dermal fillers run from $399 to $699. Treatment totals depend on your plan, so ask for yours at the consultation.
Monthly specials also appear on the clinic's site, and one longtime patient says she takes advantage of them to try different services at a good price. If you're deciding between two things, a special can be a low-pressure way to try one. Ask the front desk about the current offers.
Paying for treatment
The clinic accepts cash, major credit cards and Apple Pay. For larger plans, there's financing through Affirm, with amounts up to $30,000, and through Cherry, which offers 0% APR options for qualifying patients. Approval and terms depend on the lender, so ask the team how to apply, and read the terms before you agree to anything.
Who comes in, and from where
Growing Younger Clinic has been family-owned in Madison since 2010 and holds an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. It lists Madison, Huntsville, Hazel Green, Athens, Decatur, Ardmore, New Market, Cullman, Scottsboro, Guntersville and Florence among the areas it serves. Patients write about driving real distances: one makes almost an hour's drive for facials, massages and RF microneedling, and another testimonial comes from a patient who travels from Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Finding the front door
The clinic is at 8103 Hwy 72 W in Madison, Alabama. Look for the black sign with the leaf mark at the entrance. Inside, the lobby has pink velvet seating and pink neon, and the waiting room has massage chairs, which is a pleasant way to start.
If you're still deciding which treatment to ask about, browse the services page first. Injectables, laser and energy treatments, skin care, weight loss and hormone support each have their own pages, so you can arrive with a short list instead of a blank page.
